Halden Gallery

A suspended installation that turns a bare gallery into a single, slow gesture.

Halden asked for a permanent piece that would hold an empty room without filling it. We answered with one continuous form, suspended four metres above the floor and lit from the windows alone.

The installation changes through the day: at noon it reads as a solid ribbon, at dusk it breaks into a cloud of points. Visitors stay longer in the room than in any other space of the foundation.
